Indonesia AirAsia Holds Duty Safety Training for 68 PT Unex Rajawali Indonesia Personnel

Unex Rajawali Indonesia – As part of its ongoing commitment to maintaining and improving aviation safety standards, PT Indonesia AirAsia held Duty Safety Training (DST) for employees of PT Unex Rajawali Indonesia. The two-day training took place on 11–12 June 2026 in the Unex Training Center classroom.

Sixty-eight PT Unex Rajawali Indonesia personnel actively participated. To support effective learning without disrupting daily operations, participants were divided into four sessions over two days, with the following schedule:

  • First session: 09:00–12:00 Western Indonesia Time (WIB)
  • Second session: 14:00–17:00 Western Indonesia Time (WIB)

Working with Expert Instructors

Two experienced instructors from PT Indonesia AirAsia, Aprian Chandra and Rendy Ramadian, delivered the DST materials. They covered the latest workplace safety procedures, risk mitigation in operational areas, and the importance of coordinated safety practices between airlines and ground handling providers.

“Safety is non-negotiable in aviation. Through this training, we want to ensure that every person in the field shares the same readiness and understanding of international safety standards,” an instructor representative said.

Changes to the Training Cycle

DST is an important recurring programme for both parties. Previously held annually, it will move to a two-year cycle in subsequent years following evaluation and adjustments to the latest regulations. The change is expected to improve practical application of the training through a more established monitoring period.

Through this training, PT Unex Rajawali Indonesia and Indonesia AirAsia aim to strengthen coordination, reduce incidents and accidents, and continue providing safe, high-quality service to all aviation customers.
